  • 2025: I won a ✨ Google Research Scholar Award ✨ for my proposal on tackling LLM hallucinations (Personal Grant).
  • 2025: Recieved an ACM SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Award for our work on How Much Code LLMs Remember? at MSR.
  • 2024: Recieved an ACM SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Award for our work on Smart AutoCompletion Invocation at AIWare.
  • 2024: I won an ✨ Amazon Research Award ✨ for my porposal on addressing memorization in LLMs (Personal Grant).
  • 2023: My grant proposals for two fully-funded PhD positions on #LLMs4code are approved by JetBrains Research.
  • 2023: Received one fully-funded PhD as part of my starting package for my new role as the assistant professor, TU Delft.
  • 2023: Received the ACM Distinguished Service Award for co-chairing the NLBSE competition on issue classification.
  • 2023: Our tool for classifying code comments won first place in the NLBSE’23 tool competition.
  • 2023: Won first place in the LLM’s data extraction challenge organized by Nicholas Carlini et al. at (Google) SaTML’23.
  • 2022: My tool for issue management won first place in the NLBSE’22 tool competition.

  • 2025 (Netherlands): Gave a tutorial at the AIWare bootcamp on the LLMs for Software Development; An Evaluation Perspective. Also served as a panelist on the “Agentic SE & Open Source in the FMware Era – Toward Trustworthy, Context-Aware FMware” panel.
  • 2025 (Netherlands): Gave an invited tutorial for the ING Bank on LLMs and Autonomous Agents for Software Development.
  • 2025 (Norway): Served as a panelist at the AI-Augmeneted SDLC workshop on GenAI and Software: The Rodmap Ahead, co-located with FSE conference.
  • 2025 (France): Gave an invited talk at the French National Centre for Scientific Research’s (CNRS) open seminar on Software Development in the Era of Generative AI. Also served as a panelist on the round table on “scientific challenges of GenAI and our Social responsibilities”.
  • 2024 (Netherlands): Gave an invited talk at the Software Engineering and Technology cluster of the Eindhoven University of Technology.
